While waiting for the myargirls.com augmented reality website to come on board, I had a chance to preview the newly released AR player App, 123Merge, the first ever app available to let more than one video be played at once. This app is currently available on the Apple and Google Play store, and can be used on Google cardboard passthrough.

123Merge is definitely an app you want to try out, if you are looking to augment objects into your everyday world. It can accept YouTube videos, as easy as plugging the video URL into the player, and watching it work its magic. Right now, the app is completely free, but will later change to a paid app. It also allows you to adjust the timeline of any video, playing them all together, and create your own world! While the app was originally designed to play videos that are family oriented, the app does accept videos from the adult industry, and since you are able to move the video to anywhere you want, it’s absolutely perfect for POV videos. While they are not in 3D yet, we look forward to the advancements and growth of this company as a whole. Augmented reality is definitely the newest upcoming technology in the VR industry.
